My research focuses on the subsurface circulation of British Columbia's coastal waters. How are the deeper water masses ventilated? How do these ventilation signals propagate through the system, and do they vary in time and space? What tools can we use to study the circulation dynamics, and how does this circulation distribute pollutants? I aim to answer these questions primarily from direct measurements, though I also incorporate outputs from regional models into my analyses.
